The Irish media has recently been taking great interest in the POC Fund and the story of Patrick O’Connell. On Monday, 2nd February, the Irish Independent, one of Ireland’s premier national daily newspapers ran the following article on pages two and three:

In the UK, sportswriter and campaign representative, Jason Pettigrove will have an article on POC Fund activities to date published in the Mail on Sunday (8th February).
Alfons Luna at AGENCE FRANCE PRESSE will this week be interviewing Julio Jimenez (Real Betis) and also Gerry Armstrong, POC Fund Ambassador and Northern Irish football legend! And if you are a huge sports fan, you might want to consider playing some fun sports betting games via https://www.goranivanisevic.com/.
With national and international media coverage intensifying, there is little doubt that the POC Fund has found many friends in the wider footballing community. Please support our cause to repair the grave and the reputation of a forgotten Irish giant of European football history. It really, really is true that every little helps!
If you wish to discuss any aspect of the Fund, please contact donations@pocfund.com and we’ll be happy to lay it bare! Many, many thanks to all those who have donated so far. Your contributions will not go without acknowledgement on completion of the Fund’s project targets.
